Training

 

The Federal Patent Court offers training in several vocations, and has been appropriately certified by both the Federal Office of Administration and the Munich Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

 

Department 1 is responsible for training

  • candidate patent attorneys,

  • trainee solicitors as well as

  • interns.

Judge Thomas Voit is head of department 1.

 

Department 3 is responsible for training

  • trainees under the Vocational Training Act (Berufsbildungsgesetz).

Judge Dr. Carsten Kortbein is head of department 3.
